acraven, I am looking for something under 125 a night. I think I can find a good hotel myself, recommendations are always helpful, I am really looking for good and bad areas to look for one.

The Hotel Barcelona Catedral is more than you indicated for a budget, but the location can't be beat. My wife and I started our honeymoon there and have been back twice more. Can't say enough about it.
