We are interested in taking a Spanish Civil War tour one morning late this coming January. So far I can find only two options. The first is a Nicl Lloyd Tour. His tours get fantastic reviews and at 30 Euros they are quite reasonably priced. But, for 2018 he has expanded the length of his tours from 4 to 5 hours. That's getting to feel less like a morning and more like a day. He does do private tours which might possibly be shorter, but that's quite expensive beginning at 290 Euros which I hope is the price for two. Regardless, it's still more than we are willing to pay.
The alternative is a private Context Tour. They don't do group Civil War tours in January and their private option is 409 Euros for three hours and way out of our price range.
Has anyone been on a Nick Lloyd tour? Would it be worth 5 hours?
Alternatively does anyone know of another guide in Barcelona?
Finally, we'd happily share a private tour with a likeminded couple or family.
