My younger son's girlfriend (mid-30s) wants to visit at least one Christmas market while we are in Barcelona (Dec. 26-28) this year. Older son responded that he wanted to, as well. I've not understood the attraction of Christmas markets, but maybe this year?!
Do you have suggestions for where we might find post-Christmas markets in Barcelona?
You might find this helpful, although it seems that the markets finish on 23rd.

Thank you, Lin. There are some good links that we might use in the article.
Everything I can find shows the Christmas events in Barcelona ending on, or before, 23 December.
In other parts of Spain, the festivities/Christmas markets go on into early January. If you don't mind a little day trip Girona and Zaragoza both have Christmas markets that go into January.
The famous Santa Llúcia market in Barcelona runs from mid Nov to Dec 23rd. Sadly (for you), 26th-28th is a "gap" between Xmas and NYE as well as the Three King's Parade on the 5th (Jan)... nothing (Xmas-related) special going on.
For other type of events check the City Hall website here: https://guia.barcelona.cat/en/agenda
Thank you all for the suggestions. It looks as though the Fira de Reis Grain Via is open after Christmas. I hope that we find some special items.

In any case, our X-mas markets are quite "different" from those in, say, Germany. Catalan markets feel cosy and very rooted in local traditions, while German ones are far larger, more festive in a classic winter sense, and built around that warm, magical holiday atmosphere with food and drink rituals.
Thanks Enric. "Catalan markets feel cosy and very rooted in local traditions." I think that this is exactly what the girlfriend is looking for. The only Christmas market that I have attended was in Paris near the Ferris wheel . It was not inspiring. I'm looking forward to the Barcelona experience.
