Hello,
My husband and I are traveling to Barcelona end of May. We are looking for a nice, comfy, boutique hotel that is not too expensive but not necessarily "budget" either. We would like to be close to many popular attractions. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
We enjoyed BCN fashion house, very close to Plaza Catalunya. We had a room with a shared bath, but I'm quite sure they also had rooms with private bath. It's small, they do a nice breakfast, room was very nice and pleasant. They have a roof terrace. They do not seem to have staff during the middle of the day.
I didn't stay here, but I sure did consider it - in great location and very cute/boutique-y. https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/bcnak-cotton-house-hotel-autograph-collection/
Everyone's idea of "not too expensive" is different, but with that said, we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Granvia. It's very close to the metro as well as being close to some of the attractions. Staff is friendly and accommodating; breakfast is excellent. Their complementary afternoon tea time was extensive to the point that it would serve as a late lunch. https://www.hotelgranvia.com/en/
Thank you all for your recommendations.
We will be staying here. You can visit Trip Advisor, do a search. I would look up B&Bs, and organize it by "Traveler Ranked", for example.
