Has anyone tried the Ciclo Tour of Barcelona, or any other bicycle tours of the city? Any recommendations in this regard? We think it would be fun for our family on a trip there in March.

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens did the Fat Tire Gaudi bike tour (including skip the line at Sagrada Familia) this August and it was excellent. It was our second Fat Tire bike tour (we had done Paris a couple years earlier). The guides are knowledgeable and entertaining, the pace is easy enough for a not-super-athletic mom but active enough for kids who are bored of walking everywhere, and the route is filled with interesting stops. They have a couple of options in Barcelona including the more general city tour, so it just depends on what you want to see. The Fat Tire tours in both Barcelona and Paris were definitely highlights on our vacations...highly recommended!! Have a great trip!!

I am a cyclist that have always been concerned about safety. Not sure that I would want to cycle on the busy streets of Barcelona, especially the way people drive there. Make sure you are using a bike trail that is safe.
