Planning next year's vacation. Which of these months is better/best for Barcelona? Thanks!

I’m sure Enric from Barcelona will have his favorite season, but to me any of those months would work. Check the average temperature for those months to see which might be more comfortable to you. You can also check to see if there are any festivals occurring during any of those months that may be of interest. The places you want to visit aren’t going to change, so it’s really the temperature and weather that concern you. When I visited it was October.

May, then late September.
I wouldn’t plan Nov/Dec if you can avoid it. Having said that, BCN is good at any time.

I have been in Barcelona in late September. Weather is nice, except last year, we had one evening of rain., When we were there last year we attended the La Mercè, Barcelona (street theater, music, parades, light shows). It was one of highlights of our trip to Spain. I have also been to Barcelona at the end of November. What I liked about that time of the year is fewer crowds, the great light shows and decorations and Christmas markets.
As others shared, Barcelona has something to offer whenever you go.
