We will be traveling to Barcelona and after a few nights in the Gothic Quarter, we plan to take the train to Madrid and Collioure France as 4 day side trips. In between these trips, we'll spend 1 night in Barcelona each. What is the best location for these one night stays? I believe that both trains leave from Sants Station, but I didn't see many cheap options with any charm near by.
