We will be in Barcelona for 5 nights over the Easter weekend and, as you may have guessed, hotel prices are soaring over this weekend. Typically we stay at Marriott properties since we usually have a plethora of points, but we are finding even those are outrageous at this late date. We will have already been in Spain for 7 days, coming up from Sevilla, so thought an apartment might be nice and "maybe" more affordable, as well as, a good way to get laundry done before we head to Madrid. Some details about us....
We are:
- A couple in our early 60s (celebrating our 30th anniversary)
- Very mobile so a place that is walkable to sites is plus but not a deal breaker
- Prefer a place maybe a little quieter where we don't have a lot of street noise, etc
- Willing to spend between $200-$300 per night.
This is our first trip to Barcelona so very excited to see the city.
All recommendations are much appreciated.
