Barcelona Apartment recommendations

We will be in Barcelona for 5 nights over the Easter weekend and, as you may have guessed, hotel prices are soaring over this weekend. Typically we stay at Marriott properties since we usually have a plethora of points, but we are finding even those are outrageous at this late date. We will have already been in Spain for 7 days, coming up from Sevilla, so thought an apartment might be nice and "maybe" more affordable, as well as, a good way to get laundry done before we head to Madrid. Some details about us....

We are:
- A couple in our early 60s (celebrating our 30th anniversary)
- Very mobile so a place that is walkable to sites is plus but not a deal breaker
- Prefer a place maybe a little quieter where we don't have a lot of street noise, etc
- Willing to spend between $200-$300 per night.
This is our first trip to Barcelona so very excited to see the city.

All recommendations are much appreciated.

We (59 and 73) have stayed twice now at Suites Center Barcelona. It's on the edge of the Gracia district very close to Diagonal metro station. The neighbourhood is lovely and the apartments quiet. The apartments are managed by Hotel Casa Fuster so you can use the hotel pool and gym and even order room service.
