We will be in Spin for about 1 week after time in Poland. We'll be traveling with our adult daughter and would like to divide the time between Barcelona and a beach destination. We won't have a car. Thanks for any suggestions.

We stayed in Tamariu and took day trips to Girona and Figures. We did have a car. Tossa de Mar isn’t too far north. Nice beach destination. Busses run to a lot of these places.

We enjoyed a day trip from Barcelona to Stiges. Very easy to take the train there. Very pretty.
Although we had a rental car and idk how public transport would occur, I spent six nights in Calella de Palagrugell which is approx 2 hours north of Barcelona. It’s an epically beautiful small town on the coast and connects via a gorgeous coastal walking path to LlaFranc. I literally dream about how beautiful, relaxing, it is with lovely smaller hotels and places to walk, swim, dine, boat. We’re in Nerja now and were in Calpe earlier this week. All beautiful but I’m just don’t think I’ll long to return as much I long to return to the Costa Brava area. Spain has so many wonderful areas to explore!
