Anybody has experience with Barcelona airport lounge for AA, AENA Joan Miro?
Is it worse to pay for a day pass $59?
I remember very nice one was in Athens, one could very comfortable nap on their chairs.
Have 4.5 hrs overlay in BCN for a domestic flight after flight from States
It's all subjective, one person's "nice" is another person's "average". I found the lounge in Barcelona to be fairly average amongst Spanish lounges which isn't much of a glowing endorsement considering how poor Spanish lounges in general are. I don't recall the particular lounge but I was on a BA flight and if the lounge you're referring to is accessible for AA passengers then it's likely the same one as I used.
You'll have a comfy enough chair to nap on and some average complimentary food and drink. Only you know if it's worth $59.
If the lounge has showers available I wouldn’t blink. Without showers the value would be less certain for me.
Maybe this has changed, but as of a couple months ago ANEA lounges we’re still operating at a reduced capacity for COVID. I had access via my ticket and stood at the back of a long line for the “one out, one in”. I gave up after 90 seconds and went into the absolutely jammed concourse.
YES!!!
Thanks for the video!!! Duh... I forgot to check the Tube!
They have sleeping area!!! That's what I'm looking for! Am not using lounges in general.
Thanks for the warning of being crowded, too!
We'll be arriving 7.30 AM -- hope will not be. I'll risk and pay for 2 hrs nap. Just 1 hr nap in Athens, with legs up, made a difference. Ahh, they had such a nice couch!
