What is the recommended timeframe when to purchase tickets for Barcelona sights (La Sagrada/Picasso Museum/Park Guell etc). Trip from October 7 to 11, 2024. How soon should I purchase? Thanks.

Make sure that you purchase tickets at the official attraction website--don't want to buy tickets through a 3rd party only to find out that they either were unable to buy the actual tickets, or that the tickets were not authentic.
Looks like sagrada familia today (7/20/24) has tickets for dates through the end of September. I would check every couple of days from now and buy tickets soon after the purchase window opens. Not sure how quickly they will sell out for dates in August. Tickets went pretty quickly for certain times of day when we went in May.
Park Guell today has tickets on sale for dates through October 18. We signed up for the first time slot of the day and were glad that we did. We were able to see a lot of the popular spots with only a handful of other people around.
As soon as you have your itinerary firmed up, I would recommend getting tickets as soon as you can. Some folks in the forum had waited too long and were unable to buy tickets. Again, in October not sure how quickly certain time slots will sell out.
We were on a rather tight schedule, but I regret not taking time to go to the Picasso museum.
