We are traveling to Barcelona in June for three nights with our three kids (11-15). I have been having trouble finding a place to stay that I trust for a reasonable price. We have stayed in air bnbs and pensions around Europe so we’re flexible as long as it’s clean and in a good area Thank you!
Barcelona is a city that regulates Air BnB listings. You might find this article interesting:

Still, with 9600 listings, you should be able to find something. Look for a location within a mile or so of Plaça Catalunya to be centrally located.
There is a very nice Aparthotel near La Sagrada Familia. We had a two BR, 2 B with Kitchen, W/D. Front desk downstairs provides the same help as in a hotel, making reservations, etc. I found this place in maribelsguides.com which have been invaluable in planning our trips to Spain. Hispanos7Suiza is the name of this Aparthotel.
My family of five stayed here. Loved it:

Two blocks to Sagrada Familia, where you can catch the Ho/Ho bus or the Metro to get anywhere else. With two sleeping on the foldout, it'd be a little tight, but it's only for three nights. Two sinks and a huge tub in the bathroom. AC, an elevator and two balconies. In June, the nightly rate is a little over $100. It was very clean, and the beds were comfy.
Have a great trip!
