Balearic Islands - where to stay

Looking for recommendations of which island/resort/area to visit..

Young couple looking for gorgeous beaches, good restaurants, beautiful sunsets and chilled bars/laidback atmosphere. We love seafood, good fresh food is big on our list. Somewhere with good bars and beach bars/clubs would be great but definitely want to avoid any big party places and nightclubs.

Desperate to see those clear Balearic waters and eat our way through fresh local cuisine.
Thinking Ibiza but would be open to anywhere. Specific areas/resorts recommendations appreciated. Would be travelling in June.

Ibiza is growing up. Whilst there are still the mega clubs and best nightlife in the world the party scene is definitely taking a step back. There are more and more laid back bars opening along with the old stalwarts that have been offering fantastic views of the sunsets with a more laid back ambiance. Good food is seeing a resurgence and whilst the scene still has some way to catch up with Mallorca it's certainly better than it has been.

San Antonio is still popular with Brits and other young Europeans keen to get blotted and sleep with anyone but outside of the town there are pletny of options. My preferred choice would be Ibiza Town, historic and very cosmopolitan and with a thriving gay scene. It's not a place for beaches as it's a port but good beaches are never far away. You'll find some of the best restaurants, bars and clubs here and some great boutique hotels.
