AVE Train from Sevilla to Granada cancelled

Our AVE train from Sevilla to Granada on April 8 has been cancelled. Has anyone heard if it's just AVE? all AVE trains on the route? I've contacted Rail Europe for assistance. Thanks for any advice

I don't know what the situation is with the trains, but ALSA and TG Comes run buses between Seville and Granada. They are scheduled to take 3 hours or a bit more--not all that much longer that the fast trains, because the buses take a route that is geographically more direct. Spanish inter-city buses are usually very comfortable.

The AVE trains from Seville to Granada appear to be cancelled on April 8. However, you can take a Ouigo Espana train from Seville to Cordoba and then take a AVE train from Cordoba to Granada. You can see that two-train ticket combination and also buy tickets for the itinerary at www.TheTrainline.com. The trip takes 3:14.

Seville to Granada is an AVANT service, not an AVE service. And there are still some listed on the RENFE website. If your particular train has been cancelled start by asking RENFE to rebook you on a train that is running.

There are ploblems on that line and service appears to have been reduced.
