Hi all, I'm gearing up for a 16 day trip to Spain. I'm wondering if anyone has any opinions on the "must have" apps for traveling in Spain or other things that can be downloaded onto an iPhone prior to the trip. Just curious what others have found helpful :-)

I just downloaded Hailo, an app that allows you to hail taxis and pay with a credit card, similar to Uber and Lyft in the US. I'm curious to see if anyone has used it recently in Barcelona and Madrid and how they liked/didn't like it.
My Spanish is unreliable, so I know I'm going to use Google Translate A LOT.
this topic has been covered many times before, perhaps do a search on the forum. we have not traveled in spain yet but, really enjoy using 'word lens' to convert menus text etc and pocket earth, for off line maps with great detail, both can be used off-line which is great. both would work for travel in spain.

Looks like Word Lens has been integrated with Google Translate. Just downloaded Hailo as well :-)

First hand experience live from BCN, both Hailo and MyTaxi work great. It's integrated with Google Maps too! Although you probably don't need it because there are so many taxis everywhere.
