I am planning to stay in Barcelona and Madrid for a week in each location. I am looking for one-bedroom apartment suggestions in both these places preferably in a central location (or not too far from the center of action). Kitchen required to cook a few meals while we are there. Will prefer something in the range of $100-$150 per night.

I am also looking for October but the rates are $200+ per night on the two options noted.

We will be staying here in October. It's within your price range, has two bedroom and a washer and dryer. It is across the street from the Sagrada Familia. The beds are twins, only, though.
