Has anyone had experience with vacation apartment rental companies like Valencia Luxury apartment rentals? Or any recommendations for short term rentals?

I used AirBnB. I liked a lot of my apartment, but I booked it for convenience to the bus station and because it was near the greenbelt/park in the north of old town. Unfortunately, despite it being on the 8th floor, the sewer gas smell in the apartment was terrible. I wouldn't recommend it. I might suggest something in the newer part of town northwest of Old Town...perhaps on the subway around Benifferi or Campinar stops. I didn't get down to the coast, so not sure how new things are there. I know that Valencia is plagued with sewer smells. I think some of the problem is that green belt that used to be a river that was drained, and then the ubiquitous plumbing problems of an old town.
