We are a family of 6 adults traveling to Spain next May. We would like to stay in an apartment in both Madrid and Barcelona. Does anyone have a specific suggestion on which apartment rental service to use or which neighborhoods to stay in?
These apartment rentals in Madrid are centrally located with great views
Here are three apartments in Barcelona you might like with great views.
Thank you! This is very helpful.
If I were a visitor to Barcelona looking for a short term rental I would search around the Gràcia neighbourhood. Gràcia is the very walk-able artsy hip area of Barcelona, it feels more like a quieter smaller town than part of the bustling metropolis of Barcelona. That is because Gràcia used to be an independent town for centuries before being incorporated into Barcelona proper in 1897. It is also within walking distance to most of the Gaudi sites like Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, the Sagrada Familia, and Park Guell.
Great suggestion-Thanks!
hi klee
you can check out cross-pollinate.com and trip advisor has a few to look at. not knowing what your budget is and the amount of people traveling in your party, a three bedroom and 2 bathroom would be good for you. read the fine print, look at pictures closely and what kind of fees are included. check your arrival times and check in times, how many keys, if early is there a place to drop off or will you be pushing luggage around and long waiting until time to check in. be prepared for all options.

Great tips-thanks!
Our family of 6 has stayed several times at the Palacio Conde de Miranda in Madrid. We've been very happy with them. It's just across from the Mercado San Miguel and a few minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor.
Thank you!
