I have been. We decided to go on a non show day, as you can spend longer there, having a tour behind the scenes up close to the horses, plus you can take photographs. You can’t photograph the actual show. There were numerous people in the show arena practicing their routines, which we watched for about an hour. You can also visit the carriage museum. We arrived at opening time and left just before 2pm. It’s worth seeing if you are in Jerez and I’m not much of a horse person.

The sherry bodega Lustau in Jerez was also worth visiting.

We went the day of the rehearsal of the show. We loved it. We visited the facilities, saw the horses from up close, and the show. We really enjoyed ourselves.

I am not a horse person. I went to the show and loved it. The grounds are also worth a walk around. I was told that if you get there an hour or so before the show, you can get up close to the horses in the paddock. It's a couple kms from the train station, nearly as far from the center. I don't know if there are buses. I took taxis.

BTW if you are going to be in Cordoba, there are also horse shows at the Royal Stables - different but also very good.

We are horse people (well, all except my husband.....) -- we own 4 of them. We went to a Thursday show last April and loved it (even my husband).

We arrived as soon as the grounds opened (10:00) and toured the museum, which we enjoyed. It contains some very basic information for those who don't know much about horses or equestrian sports, but it also has some good in-depth facts, and I learned a lot myself, even though I've been involved in equestrian activities for 45+ years. We also toured the carriage museum and the harness-making facilities, which were fascinating for us since my daughter and her pony have recently taken up driving. There are also multiple examples of riding tack in the museum; really interesting stuff.

We then watched riders (not the performance participants) doing basic training in the exercise rings. We really enjoyed this part of the day. Just another weekday for them, but really interesting for us to see what their "workday" routine looks like.

The performance itself was amazing. Unfortunately there are no photos allowed, but maybe that's a good thing -- allows you to really focus on the teamwork and precision of the riders and their partners.

We left after the performance was over, somewhere around 1:30 -- the bodegas were calling. But it was a really nice way to spend a few hours. Our family, with some very horsey members and also some non-horsey ones, all had a great experience.

Edited to add: as I recall, there are a couple of different ticket types. A VIP pass will take you "backstage" and let you get up close to the horses before the performance and and watch their warmups, have some photo ops, possibly ask questions (at least, this is what I'm remembering from my research last year). We did not purchase these tickets, just general admission, because it would have been too expensive for the 5 of us in our group. But you may want to consider it for your group, or at least for the very horsey people in it. I think it would be worth it.

I was there the day of the show and it was great. We arrive early, walked the ground, saw some young riders practicing and saw the museum. I think you will enjoy it.

We're definitely going to the equestrian center, be there in about 6 weeks.
