I will be in Barcelona in 2 weeks and will be spending time at the beaches. I am wondering if any of the beaches have lockers where I can store my valuables while enjoying my time there. Thanks for any advice.
What I do at the beach when I am on my own ...
I leave most of my valuables in the hotel room or safe.
I have a waterproof waist pack that I use when I go in the water to store my room key, ID,and cash.
Hi (again) steve!
Yes in some, but at the end of the day it's easier to follow Laura's advice.

Thanks all. I want to be able to take some pictures so maybe I will buy a cheap underwater camera and leave mine at the apartment.
Thanks again for all the advice Enric! I have a question about transportation from the airport to the apartment so I will PM you.
There is a train station not far from the Barcelona beaches that may have some lockers.
I walked the beaches from the Columbus statue past the Olympic Village and didn't notice any lockers - but I wasn't really looking for them.
At beaches, I generally do what was suggested above:
1. leave valuables in my hotel room,
2. have someone stay with the valuables at all times, or
3. double bag valuables in zip-lock bags and take them in the water with me.
I'd never leave anything unattended on a beach anywhere in the world - but particularly not in Barcelona.
Last thought, you will find much more picturesque beaches taking the train (from the nearby station) north. For about 7 euro you can get to Arenys de Mar, Blanes, or Tossa de Mar. In that stretch are really nice beaches. The beaches in Barcelona were man-made for the Olympics. They're just okay, better than nothing, the sand isn't white and the water isn't clear.
