I know the answer is probably a no due to the Euro Cup and Copa, but any chance of taking our sons to a game in Sevilla or Barcelona the 16th - 24th of June? We will do the tour of FC Barcelona Stadium of course...lousy hoping maybe in Seville there's an exhibition or something.

Well, in any year the Primera Liga season would be over by then, as would all the big soccer leagues, as summer is off season for the soccer leagues in most European countries (though not Scandinavian ones or Switzerland IIRC).

As far as I can tell, there are no matches in that period, due to the Euro Cup. However Spain is playing Turkey on the 17th and Croatia on the 21th in the Euro Cup, so it might be worth to catch a match at a bar somewhere. Perhaps it's best in Sevilla, since the Catalans are not that keen on everything Spanish.
