Friends, I find myself with hayfever/pollen allergies that have moved quickly into a sinus infection and a perforated ear drum. My USA doctor told me last night that I likely need antibiotics for the ear, at least, and possibly sinus infection.
I’m in Barcelona in Barri Gotic. Any advice? Do I walk into a pharmacy and request info on a doctor? Do I Google and pick the one that is nearest to me? I really need to solve this problem today.
Pharmacists in Europe have a lot more latitude in what they can do than American pharmacists. A pharmacy would be a good place to start.

Went to three pharmacies until I got the help I was searching for - directions to a clinic 6 blocks away in the heart of Barri Gotic, near Las Ramblas. . Paid 80 euros and they gave me paperwork that I can submit to my health insurance to reimburse if I want. Only waited 15 minutes. Saw a great doctor, got three prescriptions. All done in two hours. Very efficient healthcare system.
