Another question about trains

So far we have had no problems or questions about our various train trips on our upcoming trip until now.

We (2 adults) will be travelling from Granada to Madrid- Atocha on May 10. On the Renfe site there is a train (actually a bus to Antequerra then the AVE train) leaving at 0940 arriving in Madrid at 1340 which would work out perfectly for us. When I check on either loco2.com or the trainline.eu sites this train is not offered. Considering the price difference, 34,55€ per person on the 0940train compared to the cheapest trains listed on the others sites we are tempted to book this one.

For all of our other train trips I have used the loco2 site which worked perfectly. I haven’t even bothered trying to book on the Renfe site.

My question is does this price include the bus to Antequerra? Has anyone else encountered this discrepancy between the sites. All the other times I booked all the train times were listed.
With this low price, maybe we should just book the train?
Thanks

That promo price does "come with everything you see here." I don't know what prevents Renfe from sharing that option with their outside agents. It may be a database issue or the limited capacity of the buses.

For best success on the Renfe site, it's generally easier to pay with PayPal, unless your credit card has Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode, which you're unlikely to have secretly - you'd know about it.

We had the same bus from Antequerra to Granada situation for our Ronda-to-Granada train trip last year. I booked the trip through Renfe (yes, use PayPal as mentioned), and the bus was the last leg of that trip. It was a quick departure off the train and onto a line of waiting buses.

Thanks for the replies. Tickets purchased and yes, I had to use PayPal. Tickets are printing off as I write this. 😃

When you buy a Renfe ticket, it includes the bus all the way to Granada. They are quoting the full fare. They are supposedly building a train line all the way and this is the way they build their customer base. I have done it, and it is very smooth. I would just book the train on the Renfe website. BTW their website can be really touchy. You can't purchase the tickets more than 90 days in advance.

Renfe tickets opened today for June. I booked via Loco2 from Seville - Córdoba and from Córdoba - Madrid for June 4. It was quick and easy. I looked on Renfe site and prices were the same. I have my tickets printed out and also saved as pdf.
