Andalusia travels - need recommendation on where to spend last night

We are travelling to Andalusia in first week of September for 7 nights/8 days. Our trip so far looks like this:
Day 1 (arrive late night via flight) - Seville
Day 2 - Seville
Day 3 - Seville
Day 4 - Leave for Granada with detour through Arcos and Zahara (day trips). Late evening arrive in Granada
Day 5 - Granada
Day 6 - Granada
Day 7 - Leave Granada towards Malaga (Open)
Day 8 (morning 11am) - Fly out of Malaga back

Question - Where would you recommend we stay for Day 7 (one night) - Malaga? Looking at forums/online trip adviser it seems like Malaga is a touristy place with lots of concrete. Is it worth staying one night? Any other places around we could stay the night. Any hotels you recommend. We tend to not like standard hotels, prefer B&Bs. We will be travelling with our nine month old baby and were hoping to spend the last day at some laid back beachy town.
Thanks!

Because of the concretization of Malaga and other coastal towns, Rick picks Nerja for an overnight. A taxi from Nerja to Malaga airport costs about 65 euros (70 km, 1 hour); ask your hotel to reserve it ahead. Especially with a morning departure and a baby, I would not want rely on buses (at least 2 hours with a connection in Malaga, www.alsa.es). Of course, travelers who have stayed in Malaga may have tips for that town, and the morning airport transfer will be shorter.

Thanks Laura. We plan to have a rental car with drop off at Malaga airport, so I think Nerja should work out well. Any recommendations on places to stay that are not standard hotels? I really like 'Welcome Inn' but it is not close to the beach and we would like to stay somewhere closer/walk-able to the beach (with just half a day in hand). Thanks!

Ehhhhhh, we enjoy malaga as the old town area does offer a number of sites to visit and we found it to be less touristy. The comment about concrete does apply if you head into the condo canyons heading west from malaga, but to stay in/near malaga can be rewarding. Nerja is also nice so depends on if you simply seek a nice relaxing evening and a stroll on a small beach.
Enjoy a great trip as you have defined a well paced travel itinerary.

Actually now thinking if we should alter this trip a bit

How about 3 nights in Seville, 1 night Rhonda, 3 nights Granada (and drive to Malaga airport on the third day from Granada)?

Question - Is it worth driving in/out of Ronda for one night? (we have a baby with us) Or instead should we just keep the day trip driving Seville via Arcos/Zahara to Granada so we are not adding a one nighter in between. Is the drive Seville via Arcos/Zahara to Granada scenic?

Or should we simply stay another night in Granada (that is no detour thorugh Arcos) and instead add a day trip from Granada to one of the villages closer to Granada?

Thanks
