Hello!
Would love suggestions on small cities, towns, beaches and places to stay and eat. Just two of us. Visiting Granada, Seville, Cordoba and hoping to stay in a couple small unique fun places. We have a car. We love beaches and small hikes. We have been to Spain before, looking to slow down and enjoy.
Thanks in advance for your time and wisdom.
I am a big fan of the province of Cadiz; I wrote some about this area here. Vejer de la Frontera could be your small town; there are many great beaches in that area.

I echo eks, that area is gorgeous and especially great for a seafood lover.
What month are you going and how much time do you have? If you want sea and mountains, I loved Ronda, but even if that large town is not your choice, the area is really lovely, you could try Grazalema and environs.
Antequera was nice for a couple nights, but isn’t on or near the beach. El Torcal park is nearby if you want to spend some time in nature.
Ronda is a small city in a very dramatic setting between Granada and Seville. The old part is on top of a steep hill (like a mesa) with a bridge connecting to the newer area. In the newer area is a large bullring with exhibits about bullfighting. We stayed nearby in the Hotel Molino del Arco, very pleasant with nice views, large rooms and a small pool.
Less car-friendly is the hilltop village of Los Arcos de la Frontera, with two old churches and views in all directions. You can look down at the birds from your hotel window. This is one of the "white villages" (pueblos blancos) in that part of Andalusia.
My wife and I visited Andalucia for the first time in Sep 2023; we stayed in the three cities you mention (Granada, Seville, Cordoba) and Ronda. A slight correction to a town’s name in Dick’s post. It’s just Arcos de la Frontera. There’s no Los in front. A good view of the area is from Mirador Plaza del Cabildo right by the Parador and Basílica de Santa María de la Asunción.
