Hi! We are planning a trip to Spain and Portugal in June/July this year and will have about 1 week in Andalusia the last week in June. We have 3 kids who are used to traveling abroad and we will have a car. I'm trying to figure out an itinerary for the week. My first thought was 1/2 week in Granada and 1/2 week in Seville with day trips to Cordoba, Ronda, and maybe Cadiz and Arcos de la Frontera. But not sure what the best plan is. Any suggestions? We will visit the Alhambra but are mostly interested in a cultural/adventure trip (exploring the neighborhoods, kayaking, hiking) so while we will probably visit the Alcazar and La Mezquita, we are okay skipping those this time around. Thanks in advance for all ideas.
Day 1. To Granada (2N)
Day 2. Alhambra
Day 3. Pick up hire car. To Ronda (2N)
Day 4. White hill towns
Day 5. To Sevilla (3N). Return car
Day 6. Sevilla
Day 7. Day to Córdoba - Mezquita
For hiking/adventure include time for El Chorro Gorge plus the Caminito del Rey.

The Alhambra does sell out, so that's something to take care of in advance, once you're sure of your timing. I see that tickets for June are not yet on sale.
Thanks djp_syd and acraven.
djp_syd - are there any white hill towns you especially recommend?
And thanks for the idea for the Caminito del Rey - that looks awesome!
Zahara and Grazalema are two towns oft visited easily from Ronda.
Arcos de la Frontera makes a stop heading on to Sevilla.
You should be able to schedule the Caminito del Rey on Day 3.
