When do you plan to travel? Weather-wise, there could be a significant difference between what you experience in Morocco/southern Spain vs. in northern Spain and Portugal.

You've chosen three countries that, while geographically close, don't have great transportation links. I guess my priority would be to avoid two flights or ferries into/out of Morocco in addition to the flights to/from Europe, so I'd put Morocco either first or last on the itinerary. You may find good flight connections from your home airport that get you to Casablanca on Air Maroc. You will not want to spend your sightseeing time in Casablanca, however.

Whether you connect Morocco to Portugal or to Spain could depend on what you find when you look at multi-city airfares. How does Lisbon (or perhaps Porto) compare to Barcelona/Madrid/Seville from your origin airport?

From Morocco to Spain (or vice versa) could mean a ferry or a flight. The ferry landing points are not terribly close to the sorts of places in Spain that are at the top of most people's lists, and the same is true for the Moroccan ports, so flying might be better. To travel between Morocco and Portugal you would definitely fly.

Unfortunately, you don't have wonderful choices for moving between Spain and Portugal, either. Try hard to do that only once if you choose to use public transportation. You can fly (which means time dragging yourself to, from and through two more airports), you can take a once-daily train between Madrid and Lisbon (which I think may be a night train in at least one direction), you can use a slow train/bus combo or perhaps all buses to cross in the south from Seville to the Algarve (which to my mind isn't a great destination when you have limited time), or you can travel north from Porto to Galicia if you want to see Santiago de Compostela. Schedules for the latter trip seem not to be great; people often come to the forum asking for help with it.

One other possibility for the Spain/Portugal part of your trip is to put together a roughly loop-shaped itinerary that allows you to pick up a rental car and drop it off in the same country (not necessarily the same city). But a car will probably slow you down considerably in Spain if the bulk of your travel is along the path from Barcelona to Madrid to Cordoba to Seville, because there are very fast trains on that line.

Beyond the above I cannot go without knowing what places you want to visit within each country.

Hi I plan to travel Mid May to early June 24 days leaving from LA to Libson. In Portugal I would like to visit Libson, Aveiro,Tomar, Faro, cadiz traveling south towards Spain. In Spain I want to visit Ronda Sevilla Cordoba Granada. At the end of my trip I will Fly to Sevilla to Marakesh for my tour. I am figuring 7 days each for Portugal and Spain.I guess my questions at this point is best way to get around? How many days in each place or just day trips? Any help would be great. As I will keep doing my research. Thanks Judy

Pack for very high heat. Consider taking something like a Kool Tie so you can at least keep your neck cool.

My trips to that area were so long ago that I don't remember how the transportation connections work. You can check rail schedules on the Deutsche Bahn website. For fares in Spain you would need Renfe; for Portugal, CP. For travel legs with only bus service, you can usually find the website of the serving company by Googling: Bus Faro to Seville -- or -- Bus Faro to Cadiz.

The places on your list where I'd want more time would be Lisbon and Seville. Many people take a day in Lisbon to go to Sintra, and many devote one of their Seville days to a trip to Cordoba. While you can certainly stay in Cordoba as well (it's said to be very nice at night), if you will only have one day there, I'd rather spend the night in Seville and avoid the hotel change. Granada also takes time because of transportation in and out. Check on availability of Alhambra tickets as soon as you have your date(s) for Granada. Your travel period may or may not be on sale at the moment, but the Alhambra sells out very early.

I believe folks have suggested alternatives to other travelers considering Faro, but I don't remember the details. I've never spent any time in Faro, Tomar or Cadiz. Cadiz is in Spain, incidentally.
