I am booking a trip for April or May and trying to pick dates . Can anyone confirm that Holy Week is April9-16 , Féria de Avril in Sevilla is April 30-May 6 and Cruces de Mayo in Córdoba is April 27-May 3, May 1 is a national holiday and lastly, most school vacations are the two weeks after Easter? Any other dates I should look out for in booking Madrid, Córdoba, Sevilla and Rondo destinations. I am thinking after May 6 is best. Thanks for help !

May 18 is Museum Day. On that day or another during the same week, many museums will be free. I know the Prado participated last year, and I was pleased to see that it wasn't overrun. It appeared that there was not wide recognition of the free day. I imagine major museum websites will make it clear on which, if any, day that week admission will be free. It might be worth checking before you pin down your dates.

You're correct.
Semana Santa is celebrated April 9-15.
Sevilla's Feria is celabrated 2 weeks after Easter, from April 30th - May 6th.
- The Patios Festival in Córdoba is held the first 2 weeks of May (May 2- 14).
- There's also a Spring Feria in Córdoba, celebrated May 21st -28th
