ALSA Spanish bus website prices

I have checked the ALSA website for two senior bus tickets, Granada to Cordoba, in May, 2019. The results all look something like this:
"17.10 euros -- Can change, but not cancel;
24.28 euros -- No changes or cancellations permitted;
30.02 euros."
The explanations don't make sense to me. Can anyone explain the difference in pricing? Perhaps it's a Google translation problem? I've Googled for info and written ALSA, but haven't heard anything yet.
Thank you for any help you can provide. KP

Can you provide a link and/or copy paste original Spanish descriptions here?

Thank you for asking!
"Precio total para todos los viajeros:
17,10 e -- Puedes cambiar pero no anular;
24,28 e -- No puedes anular ni cambiar;
30,02."

I'm clueless, too, but in case you are not aware, those fares are for both travelers if there are two of you.

I read it as:
Total price for all the travellers
17,10 e - You can change but not cancel;
24,28 e - You cannot change nor cancel;
30,02."

Your google translate was spot on, it looks like the more expensive price does not give as much flexibility as the cheaper price, which does not make much sense to me either. I guess I would go with the 17.10 price?

Thank you for trying to figure it out. I am worried that the different prices represent different levels of access or service, as they might on American airlines; i.e., no seats assigned until boarding, no checked luggage, last to board, etc. I used Google translator for the online help section (See: "Do you need any help?" at the top of the webpage), but could find no explanation there also. kp

I've only done one, shorter trip on an Alsa bus, but I suspect it works the same:
You place your luggage in the luggage hold yourself, then choose your unreserved seat.

I don't get the price differences either, but note that different leave times have a different amount of stops, which might be important to you.

I took ALSA 3 months ago. You can either pay more to choose a seat or the system does for you.

I just tried a dummy booking, when you choose the most expensive price, the next window is about a seat assignment.

We took the ALSA bus from Granada to Seville. The pricing was strange. There were different times of day and different pricing. We chose the least expensive and got a regular seat.
