ALSA bus reservations

I tried to book tickets for a bus on the ALSA site. I entered all of the info including my credit card info but I didn't get a message saying it had gone through so I entered it again.
I've received no confirmation email so I don't know if I've been charged once, or twice or at all. Any suggestions?
By the way I had problems connecting to the ALSA site and the link often says there's a problem with security. Reason to be concerned?

Dig with the 'What do you need?' button top right of the ALSA front page and you will find unless your credit card is issued in Spain it will not be accepted. Pay Pal is your way forward.

'I've received no confirmation email so I don't know if I've been charged once, or twice or at all. Any suggestions?' - Check with your credit card company.

'By the way I had problems connecting to the ALSA site and the link often says there's a problem with security. Reason to be concerned?' - No idea, never seen a query as you describe and no reason to be concerned with the ALSA site as far as I am concerned.

Thanks Neil.
I did phone AMEX and they confirmed that no transaction went through. We'll book the bus out in person when we arrive.

Booking in person the day of, or even the day before is all that is necessary. The busses run frequently and rarely sell out.

Booked today online with paypal. Tried with Cc first no go. There is a summer promotion going on until Sept 15 with some one ways as low as $5 euros. Must buy 3 days in advance.

I did this yesterday. My US credit card wasn't confirmed, so I called the card to make sure it wasn't charged. It wasn't, I assume ALSA has a processing issue with foreign cards. So I used paypal and received a printable ticket and an email confirmation immediately. Moral: use paypal

I booked ahead because my schedule is tight and I need to be on the last bus out of Cordoba. If that bus sells out it would be a huge hassle. With a little more flexibility, I'd just book when there.

I was on chat with Alsa and was told they couldn't take foreign credit cards online.
Was told use paypal.
