The website of the Allahambra offers self guided tickets for 14 Euros and guided tickets for 55 Euros. Is the guided tour worth the extra money?
Alice,
I don’t see the guided tour offered on the official Alhambra website.
We toured the Alhambra by ourselves and relied on our RS Spain Guidebook.
I’ve read that there are audio guides available at the Alhambra.
Make sure you book your Alhambra tickets up to three months in advance of your visit.
Enjoy your trip!
Saw it on alhambra.org
Alice,
That's not the official website for the Alhambra. If you scroll all the way down, this is what is written :
www.alhambra.org is not the official website of the Alhambra and Generalife, nor has any relationship with any official organism linked to it.
This is the official website: www.alhambra-patronato.es
Enjoy your time in beautiful Spain!
That happens to me frequently. I have contacted my hotels for info on "official" attraction websites, however, I could see that even they might steer towards a tour company. I wonder if there is some kind of list compiled of official websites for certain attractions in Europe. I am going to the Alhambra in November and I purchased the 14 euro tickets off the official website. I used the chat feature a couple times and it was very helpful.
