We will be in Alicante for one day April 19 on a cruise stop.. Has anyone on the forum visited Alicante in the last 2 years or so. If so, any suggestions of places to visit would be appreciated.

Walk around - walk up ramparts for amazing views - easy if even remotely fit ( I’m not fit and did it at 55 )
History and views .
Just enjoy waterfront for shopping restaurants etc

Find the street with the whimsical mushroom statues ! Go up to the castle if the elevator works
