Alhambra: With General ticket, can you leave in the afternoon and return same night ?

With a GENERAL ticket, can you leave during the day and come back the same night. We already have an assigned time (day) for the Palace, and just want to do some other venues the same night.

If your palace time is after 2 then you can come back to the other parts that night like the Alcazaba and the Geberalife. Obviously your palace time is your time - you have to enter at the assigned time, stay as long as you want but no returning once you leave. But that's only for the Nasrid palace.

If your palace time is before 2 you can't enter the other sights after 2. I think there is some leeway for palace times around 12-1 but I'm not sure.

Note that some areas are not ticketed at all - you can come anytime it's open, no ticket needed. That's Charles V palace, an Arab bath, the grounds between Nasrid and Alcazaba, and areas around the Parador hotel. There are nice views from these areas.

I had a night ticket years ago, and I remember that not 100% of the possible areas were open at night. This seemed to be a matter of setting up indoor lights, visibility, guard staffing, and so on. So I'd suggest you make sure of just WHAT you can enter, if your ticket qualifies you to come back. Have you read (Search box, top center) discussions here about whether the "night view" is better/the same/worse than the day visit? Of course, opinions vary.

When you say "night," do you actually mean at night? Your ticket is only good until a certain time and most of the site closes (check the closing times on their website for the time of year you are visiting). There are "night" tours but those are separately ticketed and include a light show and not for the entire site.

Your ticket will have the general hours you can visit the various sites along with the specific time for your Nasrid Palace entry.
