I just looked on the website and see there are no tickets available from Oct 1 - 8.
Does this mean we have to redo our itinerary if we were planning to be in Granada only during this time?

Call and check with your hotel. They will know what is happening. Also check the web site for Granada.

We have tickets for the Alhambra for October 2d. We did, however, obtain them some time ago.

Whew! I just finished buying our tickets.
We had to buy a more expensive ticket called Doble de Oro that is a three day ticket and may include other sites. I am not sure because my eyes are so tired from that whole process.
It was only 7 euros more per ticket.

The other sights covered by the Dobla de Oro ticket are worth seeing to the extent you have time. They won't take long individually. Just be sure you are at the Nasrid Palaces for your entry time.
