I'm trying to purchase my ticket for Alhambra well in advance, as recommended/necessary. I am coming across a few different websites for ticket purchase. I am wondering if it matters where I purchase from or what is the recommended website? I wouldn't want to purchase a fake ticket.
Also, which tour is suggested? I see there are a few different options.
This will will my first time in Granada visiting Alhambra, so any other helpful information you may have would be appreciated.

I would not risk buying from another site. If you are purchased non-discounted ticket, you can print your tickets at home. You will receive an email with a link to the tickets after you make the purchase.

Buy a general (daytime) ticket. You have to choose a time. This is for the entrance to the Nasrid Palaces. You can enter the campus at any time. There are two other ticketed structures but with no time restrictions. Allow at least an hour from arrival at the site to entering the Nasrid. I think a minimum of 4 hours at the site, many people spend the whole day. There is quite a bit to see besides the 3 ticketed areas.
In addition to the general daytime ticket, there are night visits to the Nasrid. It's very different at night and well worth seeing. I recommend the night visit first, then back on a subsequent day for the whole campus. There are also night visits to the Generalife, which I have not done.
A guide will nearly always enhance a visit. For me, the joy of the Alhambra was seeing its beauty. A tour may have rushed through places I lingered at, especially since I love taking photos.
