Alhambra-Monday or Saturday

Planning to take the 14 day Spain tour. The Alhambra falls on day 8. Since tours start either on a Saturday or a Monday, which day of the week is less crowded at the Alhambra?

From reports on this forum it appears that tickets to the Nasrid Palace in the Alhambra complex sell out way in advance for every day it's open, so it seems to me that there shouldn't be much variation in that part of the complex. I think there are more tickets available to other parts of the Alhambra (Generalife, Alcazaba, gardens), so visitor levels may vary there from day to day.

OK, hyperventilating a little bit. For November 9th, I purchased tickets to the "Alhambra and Generalife". Was I supposed to buy additional tickets for the Nasrod palace. I'm so confused. . .

On the official website, the tickets that cover a daytime visit to the entire complex are called "Alhambra General". I bet that's what you purchased.

so at the risk of sounding dense, do I have the Nasrod palace or not? My time is noon which I thought was my window for the palace piece. . .

I suspect you're OK, but I don't see a ticket called "Alhambra and Generalife" on the official website. Can you double-check your ticket confirmation to see what it says? I think it probably says "Alhambra General", instead. Those tickets cost €14 from the official website. Is that what you paid?

Its being referred to as a "General daytime ticket". It shouldn't be this complicated. I wonder if its the translation??

Thank you for purchasing your tickets for the Alhambra and Generalife.

Just went back to the official website and it says:

"With the daytime general admission ticket you can visit all areas of the Monumental Complex open to the public: Alcazaba, Nasrid Palaces, Generalife"

breathing easy ;)
