We have the 2 pm to 8 pm time slot at the Alhambra on a Wednesday with a Nazrid Palace entry at 3:30. We will have two small children with us (3 years old and 13 months). What order would you suggest we see the sights in? I'm a little overwhelmed and confused about what sights require tickets and which are free. I also am not sure how much time most people spend in each area and when to go where based on our time slots. Another question I have is where to print out the actual tickets.
I thought there had been some issues with the ServiCaixa machines?
Sometimes, you just have to hope for things to go right. Page 597 of Rick's book addresses the ServiCaixa machines and notes, "To be 100% sure, also bring your credit card's PIN number and your passport."
We printed tickets at the Alhambra book store , Libreria de la Alhambra, by Plaza de Isabela Catolica, plaza with big statue of queen in Granada before heading up to the Alhambra. We were unsuccessful with the la caixa machines.
If you don't see Arab baths anywhere else make sure you spend a little time at those in the Alhambra. We had planned to visit baths in Jaen - but they were closed for renovations. We were glad to visit the ones at Alhambra (even though they aren't a highly publicized part of the grounds).
