We have tickets for 8:30am entrance to the Alhambra, is there a separate entrance for ticket holders and what time do we need to be there by for this time slot?
Puerta de la Justicia is quite near the Nasrid Palace (5 mins or so). I presume that is what your time is for. You need the actual tickets and not receipts that need exchanging etc.
Thanks we have our tickets that we booked online and printed so we don’t need to an exchange. I just needed to know the best location for entering
There are signs just outside the palace showing where to line up. It is very near the restrooms and luggage storage building and corner of the Carlos V palace.. It says “acceso palacio Nazaries” with an arrow. People start lining up about 15 minutes in advance. The ticket is for entrance to the palace and Generalife. Anybody can walk around the grounds without a ticket, so no, there isn’t a separate entrance for tickets holders.
Linda,
As the others have mentioned, the closest entrance to the Nasrid Palaces is the "Puerta de la Justicia" (Justice gate).
If you take the minibus to the Alhambra, ( good idea as it's an uphill trek from the city center) make sure you don't get off at the main entrance which is the first stop. I'd ask the bus driver to let you know when you arrive to "Puerta de la Justicia", which I think it's the second or third stop (once you reach the Alhambra)
You may want to read about how to plan your visit to the Alhambra, and also study this map of the Alhambra.
Enjoy your trip!
