My daughter is visiting Granada and missed getting Alhambra tickets online. Could someone confirm if she could go to the ticket office on the day she is there and attempt to purchase day of tickets? According to this website: https://www.alhambradegranada.org/en/info/buyalhambratickets.asp, it seems like that is possible, but it's not 100% clear. Would appreciate any ground-truthing this community can provide. Gracias!

That is not the official website, so I wouldn't consider the information posted there definitive even if it were crystal clear.
Online tickets to the Alhambra usually sell out well in advance. I don't recall reading that there's a provision to offer tickets for days sold out on line at the Alhambra, but I cannot say that it's absolutely never done.
Be sure your daughter has checked to see that not only the "Alhambra General" tickets are sold out but also the Dobla de Oro General tickets and entries via the Granada Card. The latter two pathways are a bit more expensive but do not sell out as early. She will know whether her date is available via the Granada Card before actually buying the card.
Another possibility is to check to see whether her hotel can help her out. In some cities (I don't know about Granada) hotels are able to buy tickets to high-demand sights for their guests.
Finally, there might be a possibility to take a tour whose cost includes the entry ticket. This will be more expensive, and it's essential your daughter verifies the tour includes the Nasrid Palaces. They are the top destination at the Alhambra (the one for which tickets sell out in advance), and there are some sort of scammy tours that do not cover them.

Thanks. Yes, she's got the official site info and the reg tix are sold out as is the night palace tour. Currently, the website is acting up so we've not been able to figure out if the Dobla de Oro tix are available for her date. The Granada Card also sold out for the palace on her date, as are some of the well known tour guide sites (Get Your Guide etc). She's a college student so wasn't even sure she'd get to Granada two weeks ago. LOL. Hence the missed window for online Gen adm tix. So, if the Dobla tix are sold out, she may just try the stand in line option and see what she gets.
