Alhambra and audio tour

Has anyone gotten the audio tour for the Alhambra? I’m not sure how to reserve it because the official site doesn’t give you that option. Was also looking into small group tours, including the Nasrid Palace, but it seems that many aren’t giving tours in October. We will be there on October 9 and wanted to keep it to around 60€ or so per person. Any information on either would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

When I visited the Alhambra in early May, there was a little cart/kiosk renting the audio guides just before you lined up for the nighttime visit to the Nasrid Palaces. I don't remember whether it was in exactly the same place for the daytime visit, but I imagine it was. If you remember to look for it, you'll definitely see it. There may be multiple places to rent the guides in the daytime.

If you're making two visits and want to use the guide for both of them, keep your receipt; the second use is either free or discounted.

Audio guides are on a mobile cart at the line up for the Palace. I read before travel and backed it up with the audio guide. If you haven't booked your slot yet, I recommend getting the earliest slot so there will be audio guides available. They don't come out much before entry, so one needs to keep in line while the other gets the guides. Can't recall price, but licence can be left for surity.

There were at least two different prices being charged. I don't know what the rules were. The youngish woman in front of me paid 2 euros less than I did. I think I paid 7 euros but can't swear to it.
