Does anybody know if the train station in Algeciras will be functioning in April? I am unable to see any trains beyond about the 21st of Feb. There is usually an Altria train via Cordoba twice daily. Thanks. Olga

According to the report linked below the section north of Algeciras is due to close for three weeks from 22/Feb for works on the permanent way. A bus service should be running instead, but presumably Renfe hasn't uploaded details yet.
If the works start on time (always a question in Spain), and end on time (an even bigger question), then it should be reopened by April. But, even if not you will still be able to travel, just by coach for the first part.
