Algarve or Malaga? (late June)

We have about 7 nights in late June and considering the Algarve or Malaga areas. We're a family of five including our 15/14/9 year-old boys.  We love activities, culture, beaches, historical sites, and all of us are into food.  We will be coming from either Madrid or Seville. Any suggestions or opinions would be great.

Go for Algarve. Take the bus from Seville straight to the Algarve. The beaches there are amazing there. You will find culture, food and historical sites. You can visit seaside beach towns like Lagos, Faro, Albufeira, Tavira, Olhão, Alta, and Sagres.
