Alcazar and Upper Royal Apts tour in Sevilla

Is one able to tour the palace, go to their reserved time Royal Apt tour and then re-enter the palace and gardens for further viewing? This is what we are thinking of doing, but we don't want to be refused re-entrance when we are done with the Upper apts.
Thanks.

We were in Sevilla this past November. We couldn't do the Royal apartments because they were sold out for 2-3 weeks. We didn't get tickets for the Alcazar ahead of time because we were told at that time of year it wasn't necessary. You don't say when you are going and if you plan on purchasing tickets in advance, but I would highly advise it, especially if you want to see the apartments. We waited an hour to buy tickets. Sorry, I can't address your specific question. Enjoy Sevilla, it's wonderful!

My experience was a yes. We were there in September 2018, and had timed tickets for the apartments. There was much confusion (little or no signage, people were combined in one line - some with tickets, some without) and a long line to get in. I finally went up to the front, as our admittance time was getting close, and spoke to a guard, who let us in. We then found the apartments and toured them, and upon exiting were allowed to roam freely throughout the Alcazar. Enjoy and get your tickets online first!

Thanks for your responses. We will be there the end of March and have made reservations.
