Hi All,
My family of four (50yo adults; 13 and 17yo kids) will be in Valencia for 3 nights at the end of June and I've seen lots of recommendations for a day trip to Albufera. We will not have a car.
I've done a bit of research and it appears most "tours" and recommendations are for a boat ride, which is a no-go with one of our kids. I've not seen a lot on this forum of "what" you do at Albufera exactly, and tripadvisor is minimal as well as far as itineraries (and indications that the bird activity is low in June). There are some comments (on tripadvisor) that there are not trails around the area (is that true?!) that are accessible from where the bus drops off.
Would a suggested itinerary be, in our situation, just to go for dinner in El Palmar and see the sunset, making it a shorter trip? We could certainly splurge for a great dinner to eat the best paella!
Many thanks in advance to those who have been and know the area.
