Looking for suggestions for booking air travel from Rome to Barcelona for next spring. Thanks as always for your input and experiences

If you Google "Rome to Barcelona" flights, you'll see lots of options. I would pick the cheapest, Ryan Air (just watch out for any additional charges and other limitations). It's such a short flight (under 2 hours) that price and schedule would be my criteria for choosing a carrier. Right now, it's a bit early to book a flight, but book early if you pick a budget carrier like Ryan Air since the best fares disappear first.

Ryanair has four flights non-stop a day; Vueling has three. Shop at www.skyscanner.com
That's true this summer. It may not be the same next spring, which is a long time in the future for the no-frills carriers. Schedules can (and do) change.

Remember that Ryanair flies out of Ciampino airport, not the main airport at Fiumicino.
