Agritourismo type accommodations in Andalusia

Good day Travel experts.

We are planning a trip to southern Spain this coming May. We are hoping to find an accommodation similar to an agritourismo we visited years ago in Italy. It was a fantastic stay in an old farmhouse outside of Sienna (Agritourismo Marciano) . There was a vineyard and a winery tour. And the topper was a many course meal shared with the other guests that lasted all night. Although I know better than to try and recreate something this special I was hoping to find another similar memorable experience for this trip.
We will be traveling by car from Granada - Ronda - Tarifa - Jerez - Arcos. The details are still open for this portion of the trip.

Thanks for any recommendations

I don´t think you can find Agroturismo in Spain. The Wineries are differente on each country.

Definitily I recommend you visit Jerez de la Frontera as a Hub, and then, you can visit a lot of Bodegas on the city. The page of Consejo Regulador of Sherry is very Helpful

Good Trip!

I can't help you, but I think Marciano is a one of a kind place. I'd have to say it's my favorite place I've ever stayed.

Thank you Valente, I think this sounds like our best option. We can fit it in easily enough too.

And Yes Andrea ! Such a wonderful stay that was. I was hesitant to try and recreate it, for just that reason.

Do a search using the terms " casas rurales" in Andalucía or "hoteles con encanto" and you will find many lovely rural lodging offerings: these might be individual homes, hostales ( these are usually smaller family owned hotels, not youth hostels), agriturismos, farm stays, ranches, etc.

Thank you Pat ! I did the searches you recommended. Many new choices, I am sure we can find something through this path.

Thanks so much : )
