Advice on Barcelona trip in mid-June

I would really appreciate some advice in planning a trip to Barcelona with my boyfriend. We will be there for just 8 days and have our flights booked in and out of BCN, but would like to combine it with another place as we have both visited Barcelona before. We are 24 and 25; he is an architecture student and we both love art and architecture if that helps. I have previously visited Madrid, Toledo, and Barcelona. I am considering either a train to Valencia for 3 days(?) or going to Girona and Llafranc? What do people think of Cadaques? Also, Rick seems to like Collioure, on the French side-- worth a trip?? Neither of us speak Spanish but I do speak French. We do not want to have to rent a car and I'd prefer train travel, but would be fine with busses too (trying to keep it cheap)!

Originally I had wanted to travel from Barcelona to Marseille but now think we do not have the time.

I would LOVE anyone's input! Our dates are June 13-21.

They are all fabulous places to spend some time - Cadaques, Girona, Figueres, Llafranc.
Perhaps 2 nights in both Girona and Cadaques, then 4 nights in Barcelona. Unfortunately getting to Llafranc may be difficult without a car.

Day trip to see Dali museum? Sitges for beach time? Valencia sounds fun too.
