I've been looking at Steve's ideas for accommodations in Barcelona. Do you have any other recommendations in the 45-65 euro price range that you know of and like? I may just have a bit of sticker shock for single hotel accommodations in Barcelona after visiting southern Spain. I can get over it, but I thought someone might have some more ideas.

How many nights?
Barcelona has a great subway system which would allow you to stay outside of the main tourist zone and pay less. It is possible to rent a room, have more amenities and get in the price range you seek.
Check out a great B&B El Balcon de born... in the gothic quarter I was there in September and enjoyed it....some rooms may be in that price range, I was in a single, but forget the cost,,,breakfast was included.
Check out apartments if you are going to be in Barca for a few days, Friendly Rentals or something like VRBO. You can type in a range of prices, so will show you exactly what you are looking for.
