Rick's Spain book does not cover either of these towns. I Wish to be in easy walking distance of restaurants and sites. I will be using public transportation only.

in Girona I'd try to stay in the districts of Centre (best!) or l'Eixample
in Tarragona, I'd say Part Alta (my preferred) or l'Eixample Centre or Serrallo
