Planning a trip for our family to Barcelona and Madrid. We're a family of 4 with two teenagers. Ideally looking for 3 beds: at least a double/queen for myself and husband, and one bed for each kid (twin beds are fine). Would love to find a hotel with suite-type rooms that would allow us to stay in one room, but I know these are hard to find. Would consider booking two hotel rooms, but would like to know for sure that one of the rooms will have two beds (most say "one double OR two twins"). Has anyone found good hotels for families/groups? Or: recommendations for apartments, but trying to be conscientious of the push-back against short-term rentals in residential neighborhoods.
